Job summary

InfraBuild in Sydney is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and improve the reliability of site equipment at the Glendenning ARC facility. The role offers diverse hands-on maintenance across mechanical and hydraulic systems, with day shifts and overtime opportunities.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will perform breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and equipment commissioning while maintaining accurate CMMS records and contributing to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hold relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
• Proven fault finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read hydraulic and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on capability including welding.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs and breakdown response on production equipment.
• Execute scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Troubleshoot and fault find on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders and CMMS updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Liaise with external contractors and OEM suppliers.
