Rarekind in NSW is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established manufacturer in a permanent, full-time position. You choose permanent day work or shift work, with a hands-on role maintaining and upgrading machinery in a modern facility.

The role involves preventative and breakdown maintenance, fault finding, and operating lathes/mills. A Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical and experience with industrial equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (essential).
• Experience operating manual lathes and mills (essential).
• Strong experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Excellent mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and getting machinery back up and running.
• Completing machinery installations, upgrades and repairs.
• Operating manual lathes and mills to manufacture, repair and modify components.
• Performing mechanical fitting and light fabrication.
• Getting involved in continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.
