Job summary

NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD in Adelaide's western suburbs is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for the afternoon shift at the Opal Athol Park site. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across the plant, contribute to planning, and support safe and efficient operations.

The role involves supervising apprentices as required, reading technical drawings, and working with a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified fitter or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge & experience in safe working practices/procedures.
• Previous Manufacturing Fitter experience.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Competent computer skills.

• Maintenance planning

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the afternoon shift team at the Opal Athol Park team reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Our site is based in the western suburbs of Adelaide, only 15 minutes from the city and 10 minutes to the coast. We are a small Engineering team who are skilled and passionate about what we do. We offer a challenge and an environment to grow and develop. We offer flexibility and weekend work is an option. An afternoon shift loading of 20% applies.

The role will be responsible for:

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance across the plant in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner
• Maintenance planning
• Contribute to the health and safety of the plant
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement
• Supervise apprentices as required.
