Job summary

Mildura Fruit Juices invites applications for a maintenance fitter to keep our plant and production equipment running efficiently. This hands-on role covers preventative maintenance, fault-finding and repairs across the site.

We're seeking a safety-focused professional with a practical, solutions-driven approach and the ability to work independently within a team-driven manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Trade or engineering qualification required.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Experience in manufacturing, factory or plant maintenance preferred.
• Food-processing experience and licences advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot plant and machinery.
• Complete scheduled and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise downtime.
• Install mechanical assemblies and maintenance equipment.
• Work closely with Production and site teams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
• Support a clean, safe and organised workplace.

About the Role

We're looking for a capable and safety-focused Maintenance Fitter to help keep our plant, machinery and production equipment operating efficiently.

This is a varied, hands-on opportunity where you'll work across the site completing preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault-finding, equipment installation and continuous improvement activities.
