Job summary

SA Water is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabrication Technician based at the South Para Reservoir. The role combines workshop fabrication with site visits across the metropolitan area and regional locations to maintain, repair and install infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong trade-based maintenance skills, experience fabricating aluminium and stainless steel, and welding MSCL pipework. Safety-minded, proactive and able to work well in a team to deliver reliable water services.

Qualifications

• Experience in planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to fabricate aluminium and stainless steel.
• Welding MSCL and stainless pipework desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, and installations on water infrastructure.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across sites from metropolitan to regional.
• Collaborate with fabricators and fitters to deliver outcomes for customers.
