Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for an industrial/manufacturing setting in Penrith. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance across conveyors, motors and gearboxes, with a focus on fault finding and proactive servicing.

The role offers 4-on 4-off shifts (8:00am–8:00pm, days only), optional overtime paid at 1.5x, 32 days holiday, and ongoing training with clear progression toward management within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Planned and reactive maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Willingness to work 4-on 4-off shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of industrial machinery.
• Maintain and service motors, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Operate on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (42 hours/week).
• Attend to faults and provide timely repairs.
