Job summary

Blackbook Executive is seeking multiple Maintenance Electricians for a well-established food production facility in Young, NSW. You will perform breakdown and preventative maintenance across processing and packaging equipment, helping maximise uptime and reliability.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 12-hour rotating roster with day and night shifts, overtime opportunities, and clear career progression within a supportive maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification and NSW Licence required.
• Experience in FMCG, food processing, manufacturing, agricultural or industrial environments.
• Proficient fault-finding on motors, drives, PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and control circuits.
• Experience with PLC systems from Allen Bradley or Siemens is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on processing and packaging equipment.
• Fault find and troubleshoot to minimise downtime.
• Maintain motors, drives, control systems, sensors and production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, instrumentation and automation faults.
• Support planned shutdowns, repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Assist with electrical installations and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to maximise plant reliability and performance.
