UGL is seeking a hands-on Technician for the RAAF Base Williamtown project. You will diagnose, service, repair and maintain fuel storage and transfer systems while developing EEHA-qualified capabilities in a structured environment.

Hours are 38 per week in a blue-collar role with 6:30am–3pm Mon–Thu and 6:30am–1pm Fri (early finish). Occasional 3–4 day NSW travel with overtime opportunities is available.

Qualifications

• A-grade electrical licence.
• EEHA certified.
• Proven experience in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or Oil & Gas preferred).
• Confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred).
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.

The Opportunity

x1 positions available - RAAF Base Williamtown.

This is a hands‑on role giving you the opportunity to work on technically challenging systems, long term stability and skill development in a structured environment.
You'll build your expertise in specialised electrical work, with support to obtain your EEHA qualification, opening the door to highly sought‑after hazardous area capabilities.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your primary focus will be diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining our critical assets and equipment, such as fuel storage and fuel transfer systems.

Hours: 38‑hour work week in a 'blue collar' role supporting a strong work‑life balance.
Monday - Thursday: 6:30am - 3pm
Friday - 6:30am - 1pm *EARLY FINISH ON A FRIDAY*
There's also the option to do 3-4 days of travel each month to places within the NSW region, where you'll do longer days and pick up decent overtime (time + half for first 2 hours, then double time).

Requires

• A-grade electrical licence
• EEHA certified
• Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance (fuel services or Oil & Gas preferred)
• Confined space and working at heights tickets (preferred)
• Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
