Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a permanent Maintenance Electrician for our Yamala, QLD site. The role involves electrical maintenance, repairs, installation, testing, tagging and breakdown management, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. Hours are Monday to Friday 6:00am–2:30pm with paid overtime and a monthly rostered day off.

Harvest-season availability is essential. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors across multiple sites with a strong sense of ownership, self-motivation and reliable

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with hands-on experience.
• Willing to work outdoors at varying locations.
• Able to work at heights and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Attending sites where equipment failure or breakdowns affect operations.
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as required.
• Accurate record keeping to support compliance and safety standards.
