Job summary

Nomad Breads Pty Ltd in Darra, Brisbane is seeking a Shift Electrician to maintain and service manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring consistent product quality across rotating shifts.

You will bring an Electrical Trade qualification with QLD licence, 3+ years in FMCG, PLC, robotics, safety and HACCP knowledge, and CMMS experience to optimise reliability and compliance while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must hold recognised Electrical Trade qualification and current QLD licence.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, and automated packaging equipment.
• Proven knowledge of safety circuits and control systems.
• Experience with a CMMS such as MEX.
• Experience with HACCP and safety standards.
• Ability to prioritise and plan maintenance in a rotating shift environment.

Job description

The Shift Electrician will be accountable for the maintenance, and servicing of all manufacturing and packaging equipment over the company's site ensuring consistent products are manufactured and delivered to our customers. Position is for an immediate start working rotating shifts. The main purpose of this position is the execution of a proactive electrical work methodology across the site located in Darra, Brisbane.

About you

• Recognised Electrical Trade qualification and current QLD electrical licence
• At least 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing / FMCG Environment
• PLC knowledge and understanding
• Experience with packing and palletising robots
• Sound understanding of safety circuits
• Experience with control systems
• MEX or other computerised Maintenance Management Systems experience
• Sound understanding of equipment reliability and maintenance principles
• Exposure to a structured work order process i.e. prioritise, plan, procure, schedule, and close out
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplined team
• An attitude that is open to a changing work environment
• Strong emphasis on safety, and HACCP systems within the workplace
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
