Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a busy Darra, QLD site, offering a casual-to-permanent path and substantial weekly hours.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance across production equipment, undertaking fault finding and repairs, and supporting production to minimise downtime in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in food production or FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Excellent fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to site procedures.

Looking for a maintenance role where you'll actually be kept busy?

We're recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing maintenance team at a busy industrial food production facility in Darra. This is a hands‑on role focused on keeping production running through preventative maintenance, breakdown response and fault finding across a range of manufacturing equipment.

If you're a reliable sparky who takes pride in your work, can fault‑find under pressure, and understands that production doesn't stop at knock‑off time, we'd like to hear from you.

The Role:

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Electrical fault finding and breakdown repairs
• Working with Allen-Bradley control systems
• Supporting production by minimising downtime
• Maintaining a strong safety focus at all times
• Working across rotating afternoon and night shifts

To be successful, you'll have:

• Strong industrial maintenance experience
• Excellent fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills
• Current QLD Electrical Licence
• Current LVR & CPR
• Current Driver's Licence
• A strong work ethic and team-first attitude
• Reliability and commitment to showing up and getting the job done
