Job summary

Arcare Portarlington is seeking a Maintenance Co-Ordinator to ensure the safety, functionality and comfort of the facility. The role focuses on coordinating routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems to keep the residence in excellent condition.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, in a supportive team environment. Australian Working Rights and a NDIS Worker Screening Check are required or willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Overseeing and performing regular maintenance tasks throughout the Residence. This includes inspecting and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as handling general repairs to keep the building in good working condition.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintaining compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and repairing equipment used in the facility or outsourcing to external companies.

The Maintenance Officer plays an essential role ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of the physical environment within the Arcare facility.
