Job summary

Infosys Melbourne is seeking a Senior Mainframe CICS/MQ administrator to lead end-to-end Mainframe delivery in large-scale environments. You will manage CICS/MQ operations, upgrades and performance improvements from Melbourne.

Requirements include 10+ years in CICS/MQ administration, strong z/OS knowledge, and experience with CICSPLEX and WebSphere MQ on z/OS. Hybrid work arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in CICS/MQ administration.
• Strong knowledge of CICS/MQ in large-scale z/OS environments.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end Mainframe delivery.
• Experience with CICS resource definitions, regions and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Should have experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environment for 10+ years.
• Support the operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure(CICS & MQ series).
• Well versed with CICS resource definitions online, defining new CICS regions.
• Experience in upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version.
• Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations
• Experience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance
• CICS SSL Setup Troubleshooting
• Experience in CICS Monitoring Tools - CA SYSVIEW / Omegamon / Mainview
• Well versed with CICSPLEX Setup (CMAS), MRO region Setup and troubleshoot related issues.
• Experience and strong knowledge as a Websphere MQSeries on z/OS v7.1 / v9.0
• Install new releases, apply PTFs to Webshere MQ on z/OS
• Well versed with MQ Clustering and MQ Objects/Channels/Queues
• Experience with upgrading IBM MQ for z/OS will be added advantage.

Are you passionate about designing and delivering high-performance enterprise network solutions? We’re looking for a Senior Mainframe CICS/MQ admin to join our team.

We’re seeking a seasoned Mainframe CICS/MQ administrator with strong expertise in administration, Upgrade and z/OS knowledge. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience across Mainframe CICS/MQ and automation, along with the ability to lead end-to-end Mainframe delivery in complex, large-scale environments.

Proven experience in CICS/MQ administration and operational excellence is essential, along with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Salary:

AUD 108,571– 119,893Annual Gross
