Job summary

Optiver is seeking an experienced ETF Trader to join our Trading team in Sydney. You will quote, execute, and manage risk across ETFs, both on-screen and OTC, while identifying opportunities through market structure insights and flow analysis.

You will collaborate with quants, engineers, and other traders to improve pricing, models, and execution tools, contributing to an expanding ETF footprint in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ETF or related trading experience.
• Strong ETF mechanics knowledge: valuation, basket construction, primary vs secondary markets.
• Strong understanding of market structure and ETF interactions.

Responsibilities

• Quote, execute, and manage risk across ETFs, both on-screen and OTC.
• Identify and capture trading opportunities through market insights and flow analysis.
• Work with quants, engineers, and other traders to improve pricing, models, and execution tools.
