Job summary

Marmax Transport Pty Ltd, based in Mackay, is seeking an experienced MC Linehaul driver for an immediate start. The role covers a daily Mackay–Townsville–Mackay route, Monday to Friday, with late-model Kenworth prime movers and Road Ranger gearboxes.

Requirements include a current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence, at least 2 years in B-Double linehaul, and a strong focus on safety and fatigue management. Applicants should be Mackay-based, with a current resume and references.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in B-Double express freight and overnight linehaul.
• Road Ranger gearbox experience – essential.
• Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence.
• Experience with general freight, including tautliners and flat tops.
• Strong commitment to safety and fatigue management.
• Reliable and professional attitude; flexible with runs and loads.

Responsibilities

• One daily run from Mackay to Townsville back to Mackay, Monday to Friday.
• Load and unload freight as required and meet delivery timeframes.
• Complete required online inductions and pre-employment checks.
• Maintain safety practices and vehicle cleanliness.

MACKAY-BASED MC LINEHAUL DRIVER – IMMEDIATE START

Marmax Transport Pty Ltd is a growing transport company based in Redbank, Queensland. We are currently seeking an experienced MC Linehaul Driver based in Mackay to join our team for an immediate start.

The position involves one daily run from Mackay to Townsville back to Mackay, Monday to Friday.

We offer late-model, well-maintained Kenworth prime movers with Road Ranger gearboxes.

The successful applicant will have:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in B-Double express freight and overnight linehaul

Road Ranger gearbox experience – essential

Current MC Heavy Vehicle Licence

Experience with general freight, including tautliners and flat tops

A strong commitment to safety and fatigue management

A reliable and professional attitude

Flexibility with different runs, pickups, deliveries, loading and unloading

Current resume and contactable references

National Police Clearance through CV Check

DG licence is not required.
