GHS Solutions is seeking an experienced Machinist with fitting capabilities to join our engineering and machining team in Geraldton. This role offers a mix of workshop and site-based work, with a competitive pay rate and a site allowance.

The successful candidate will operate manual and CNC lathes and milling machines, machine components to drawings, and assist with mechanical fitting, assembly and repairs across mining, resources and industrial projects.

Formación

• Trade qualification (Cert III Mechanical Fitting or Cert III Fitting and Machining).
• Construction Industry White Card.
• Current Police Clearance (obtained within the past 12 months).
• HRWL Forklift licence (desirable, not essential).
• Current Drivers licence.

Responsabilidades

• Operating manual & CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Machining components to engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Assisting with mechanical fitting, assembly and repairs.
• Inspection and measurement of machined parts.
• Maintaining workshop equipment and tools.
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Purpose of the Position

GHS Solutions is seeking an experienced Machinist with fitting capabilities to join our growing engineering and machining team in Geraldton.

This role will involve a combination of manual machining, component manufacture, and mechanical fitting work across a variety of projects supporting the mining, resources, and industrial sectors.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and can work both independently and within a team.

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
