Job summary

CME Engineering Co, based in Manimup, WA, invites applications for a skilled Machinist to join our growing team. The role blends workshop-based machining with on-site work across Western Australia, performing machining, repairs and maintenance to meet client needs.

You will read engineering drawings, operate lathes, mills and borers, and travel to client sites as required. A Trade Qualification in Machinist/Fitter & Turner, White Card, and the ability to pass a medical are essential, with line

Qualifications

Trade qualification as Machinist or Fitter & Turner.
White Card required.
Pre-employment medical clearance required.

Responsibilities

Perform machining, repairs and maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
Carry out workshop-based machining and on-site machining work across various locations throughout WA.
Assist with line boring and other precision machining tasks.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Follow site-specific safety procedures and requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Work independently and with the wider team.
Travel to client sites as required.
