Flowserve is seeking a skilled Machinist/Operator in Western Australia to set up and operate machine tools for precision parts. You will fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments and equipment by applying knowledge of mechanics and machining procedures.

Preferred candidates have 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or repair environment, with competency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Education: High School Diploma / GED with 5–7 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Operating machine or equipment: operate basic equipment and machines to carry out routine tasks.
• Operations management: carry out operational tasks by following established processes.
• Equipment maintenance and repair: assist in maintaining and repairing equipment through proper preparation and support.
• Health, Safety, and Environment: follow basic mandatory work instructions to safeguard the environment and the well‑being of oneself and others.
• Operational compliance: adhere to straightforward mandatory procedures to ensure work meets required quality standards, internal codes of conduct, and external regulatory codes.
• Precision equipment utilization: interpret and use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
• Instructions and drawings: read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances accurately.
• Internal communications: exchange information clearly through polite and professional interactions.
• Policy and procedures: follow established policies and procedures with guidance to align with organizational strategies and objectives.
• Other duties: perform additional tasks as assigned.
