MRAEL are currently seeking a motivated Apprentice Fitter Machinist to join the team at SWB in Smithfield, NSW. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on learning with engineers and tradesmen, aiming to develop you into a trade-qualified Fitter Machinist.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn on the job and complete training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate workshop equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Repair gearboxes, pumps, and brakes in the workshop.
• Dismantle, clean, assess, and measure parts.
• Machining – Lathe, Mill, Slotter.
• Assist with maintaining workshop equipment.
• Sand blasting and spray painting.
