Visy Group is seeking machine operators for our Gepps Cross cardboard packaging plant in Adelaide. The role involves a full-time, rotating day and afternoon 12-hour shift pattern from Monday to Friday, with overtime built in.

You will operate machinery, feed products, assist with setup, and perform quality checks while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. The team values continuous learning, safety engagement, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing is beneficial.
• Able to stand for 12 hours in a physically demanding role.
• Forklift licence is beneficial.

Work with an experienced production team in our cardboard packaging plant where you can build your expertise and thrive in your career.

Role details:

We’re seeking Machine operators to join our Visy Board Gepps Cross site. We have fulltime positions available, working Monday to Friday on a rotating roster of day and afternoons.

• 1 week on day shift, 1 week on afternoon shift - 12 hour shifts with OT built in daily

What you’ll do:

• Operate machinery to meet production, service, and quality standards for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
• Feeding product into the converting machines and arranging product at the machine discharge points.
• Assist in machine setup, dismantling and job change tasks for a production run.
• Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers
• Maintain safe work and operating practices, and a high level of housekeeping always.

As our new operator, you will be a team player with a strong work ethic. You will be committed to working safely and engaging with all safety processes and procedures, along with the following:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing is beneficial, though open to all backgrounds.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role where you are on your feet for 12 hours.
• Continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Forklift licence is beneficial.
