Job summary

INTER INDUSTRIAL SERVICES is seeking reliable Machine Operators for their Knoxfield-based operation, focusing on Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) packaging. The role prefers hands-on experience in production, food processing, and operating blending or VFFS machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, food processing is required or preferred.
• Experience operating blending or mixing equipment.
• Experience operating VFFS packaging machinery is highly regarded.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes, formulas and production instructions.
• Good mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable attendance and a safety-first attitude.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and physical production duties.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) packaging machines.
• Set up, monitor and make basic adjustments to production and packaging equipment.
• Read and check a job sheet and give instructions to process workers on ingredients.
• Load and unload materials safely.
• Complete production records, batch documentation and quality checks using a computer system.
• Monitor product quality and report issues or discrepancies.
• Follow all food safety, WHS and site procedures.
• Work safely and efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

Machine Operator - Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine (VFFS)

INTER INDUSTRIAL SERVICES are currently seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team.

Our Client is a well-established Australian family business specialising in the manufacturing, processing and packaging of nuts, dried fruit and snack products. Based in Knoxfield, they are committed to quality, food safety and delivering great products to customers across Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) packaging machine operator on the afternoon shift however must be comfortable training on day shift.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your experience and assigned role, your duties may include:

Setting up and Operating a Vertical Form-Fill-Seal (VFFS) packaging machines.

Setting up, monitoring and making basic adjustments to production and packaging equipment.

Reading and checking of a job sheet and give instructions to process workers on what ingredients are needed.

Loading and unloading materials safely.

Completing production records, batch documentation and quality checks using a computer system

Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues or discrepancies.

Following all food safety, WHS and site procedures.

Working safely and efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

About You

We are looking for people who have:

Previous experience in production, food processing

Experience operating blending or mixing equipment.

Experience operating VFFS packaging machinery is highly regarded.
