Job summary

Express Employment Professionals – Northgate QLD is seeking Machine Operators with a Forklift Licence for a busy manufacturing site in Northgate. This role offers an immediate start with long-term potential and a Monday to Friday shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm, paying AUD 34 per hour.

Ongoing work with opportunities for pay increases as you’re trained across different areas. Onsite induction, lunchroom facilities, and free street parking are provided.

Qualifications

• Forklift LF licence required.
• Experience in manufacturing is highly regarded.
• Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load cardboard rolls and insulation material into machinery.
• Wrap finished products in plastic and apply labels.

Machine Operators with Forklift Licence - Northgate

Looking for an immediate start with long-term potential? We're seeking experienced Machine Operators with a Forklift Licence to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Northgate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing work with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for producing insulation wrap products in a busy manufacturing environment. Your duties will include:

• Loading cardboard rolls and insulation material into machinery
• Wrapping finished products in plastic
• Applying labels and stickers
• Moving completed products onto the conveyor system
• Assisting with general production and manual handling tasks (up to 25kg)

What We're Looking For

• Current Forklift (LF) Licence (newly licensed operators are encouraged to apply)
• Previous manufacturing experience is highly regarded
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
