Job summary

Qube Ports is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Bell Bay, TAS team. You will operate Material Handlers and Excavators, loading and unloading log trailers, building log rows and performing marshalling duties in a safety-focused environment.

We provide extensive on-the-job training, a strong health and safety culture, and opportunities within our forestry/logistics operations across Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Relevant license.
• Ability to work autonomously with proactive task resolution.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery including Material Handlers and Excavators.
• Unload and reload log trailers and build log rows.
• Perform general marshalling duties.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join the team at our operations in Bell Bay, TAS.This position is responsible for theoperation, unloading and reloading of log trailers/building log rows and general marshalling duties.

Machines used in these roles are Material Handlers and Excavators.

Qualifications and Experience

1. Previous experience in a similar role
2. Relevant License
3. Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
4. Ability to work well within a team environment
