Job summary

Vinidex is seeking a Machine Operator for a short-term 3-6 month fixed-term contract on an afternoon shift (3:00pm–11:00pm) Monday to Friday. The role involves operating PE pipe recycling equipment, inspecting materials, and maintaining safe production flow.

Forklift licence is essential; previous machine operating experience is desirable. Competitive pay of $35.80 per hour with a supportive team and provided PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate PE pipe recycling equipment including shredding, granulation, washing and pelletising systems.

• Identify contamination, equipment faults or process issues and report as required.
• Assist with housekeeping and basic preventative maintenance.
• Work toward production targets while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team to support continuous improvement and safe work practices.

Machine Operator – Short Term Contract (3-6 months)

Shifts: Monday to Friday | 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Pay: $35.80 per hour

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join the team at Vinidex on a 3–6 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a stable and well-established manufacturing business in a structured Monday–Friday afternoon shift role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate PE pipe recycling equipment including shredding, granulation, washing, and pelletising systems
• Inspect incoming materials and monitor recycled output to meet quality standards
• Maintain safe and efficient material flow throughout the recycling process

Shift Details:
