Job summary

Bullivants Newcastle is seeking a production machine operator / assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will operate a range of production machinery, assemble components to specification, and perform product testing and quality checks.

You will use hand and power tools, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced, team‑oriented environment. Background checks may be required as part of our recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator or similar manufacturing role.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Production Machine Operator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Newcastle!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience operating manufacturing equipment and using hand and power tools who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machinery, including pressing, proof loading, and other manufacturing equipment

• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures

Our Ideal Candidate will have

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Assembler, or similar manufacturing role
• Experience operating press machines, workshop gantry cranes,load cells, or other industrial machinery
• Confidence using hand tools and power tools
• Attention to detail and commitment to good work quality
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment

Highly Regarded

• Previous rigging , industrial or manufacturing experience
• Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and support junior team members
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
