Job summary

Oxworks in Crestmead, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and monitor CNC, Router, Plasma and Chain Wire machinery, ensuring safe, efficient production and quality standards.

As part of the Technical Machinery group, you’ll work with Supervisors and Team Leaders to meet daily targets, perform routine checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Driver’s licence is required; Forklift licence is preferred.

• Experience operating machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Physically capable of a hands-on manufacturing role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor manufacturing machinery.
• Work towards and achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor product quality and ensure specifications and tolerances are met.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
• Follow SOPs and company processes.
• Complete production tracking and record work orders.
• Perform daily machinery checks, maintenance and cleaning.
• Identify and report machinery faults or issues.

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team located in Crestmead.

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery within our technical machinery group, ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

You will work closely with the Technical Machinery Supervisor and Team Leaders to achieve daily production targets while maintaining a clean, safe and productive work environment.

Machinery may include CNC, Router, Plasma and Chain Wire equipment, with training provided where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor manufacturing machinery.
• Work towards and achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor product quality and ensure products meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Complete quality checks throughout the production process.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company processes.
• Complete production tracking and ensure work orders are accurately recorded.
• Perform daily machinery checks, maintenance and cleaning.
• Identify and report machinery faults or issues affecting production.

About You

• Has previous experience in a manufacturing, production or machine operating environment.
• Has experience operating machinery.
• Has strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Understands the importance of following procedures and safety requirements.
• Is reliable, punctual and committed to achieving production targets.
• Has good communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is physically capable of working in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

Licences & Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence – required
• Forklift Licence – preferred
