Job summary

Mantel Group Pty Ltd is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver AI solutions across pilots to enterprise scale. You will stand up cloud services for AI workloads and act as a technical advisor to clients and internal teams.

You will apply MLOps/LLM Ops practices, collaborate on pre-sales, and contribute to thought leadership while upholding Mantel’s five principles. Ideal candidates have commercial AI development experience, production experience, strong Python and cloud

Qualifications

• Commercial AI development experience across industries.
• Experience developing AI solutions into production with ML Ops/LLM Ops practices.
• Solid software engineering skills including CI/CD, TDD, monitoring/logging.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Cloud engineering skills to deploy cloud services.
• An understanding of Generative AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• AI solution design and recommendation on approach.
• Developing AI solutions from pilots to enterprise applications.
• Applying MLOps/LLM Ops best practice principles to create reusable pipelines for AI development.
• Standing up cloud services to run AI workloads.
• Playing a technical advisory role as an AI consultant to clients and for internal initiatives.
• Supporting pre-sales activities including conversations, technical solution design, presentations and input to writing proposals and SOWs.
• Contributing to thought leadership activities, including blogs, brown-bags and whitepapers, for Mantel Group and the wider AI/ML community.
• Use professional judgement while treating colleagues and clients with respect and compassion, and a demonstrated ability to display our Mantel principles.
