Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Forklift License and valid Driver's License.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse or production environment is preferred.
• Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines.
• Set up and install moulds and other machine fixtures.
• Collect and examine samples for conformity to specifications and adjust machine settings accordingly.
• Set grinding and cutting edges.
• Forklift pre-start checklist daily.
• Unload machinery and move product to necessary location.
• Put stock away and move stock around using the forklift.
• Perform manual handling tasks of up to 20kg.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the work area.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment highly regarded.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machines
• Setting up and installing moulds and other machine fixtures
• Collecting and examining samples for conformity to specifications and adjusting machine settings accordingly
• Setting grinding and cutting edges
• Forklift pre-start checklist daily
• Unloading off machinery and moving product to necessary location
• Putting stock away and moving stock around using the forklift
• Performing manual handling tasks of up to 20kg
• Maintaining housekeeping standards across the work area
• Current Forklift License and valid Driver's License
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Willingness to undertake manual labour as required
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment will be highly regarded
