Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced M&E Senior Supervisor to lead electrical, communications and mechanical infrastructure projects in Queensland, guiding construction through commissioning. You will supervise crews, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality outcomes.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, mentor supervisors, drive safety and continuous improvement, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence.
• Minimum Cert III Electrotechnology (Electrician).
• Strong experience leading electrical construction and commissioning teams.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, direct workforce personnel and project delivery outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of electrical standards, testing principles and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative leadership style that gets the best out of people.
• Passion for safety, quality and delivering exceptional project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction and commissioning activities across electrical, communications and mechanical infrastructure projects.
• Manage supervisors, field crews and subcontractors to achieve project milestones.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Drive productivity, quality and project performance across multiple work fronts.
• Coordinate resources, materials and construction programs to keep projects on track.
• Mentor team members and develop future leaders within the business.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure projects are delivered right first time and exceed client expectations.
