Job summary

Tecside Group is seeking experienced Switchboard Testers for an established electrical manufacturing business in Sydney, NSW. You will perform LV switchboard testing, inspect MDBs, MSBs and control panels, and ensure compliance with Australian standards.

You will read schematics, document tests, and maintain high safety and quality workmanship. The role offers an hourly rate of $59.80 and ongoing work for reliable candidates in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with LV switchboard testing and inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of AS/NZS 61439, AS/NZS 3000 and NSW Rules.
• Proven track record of documentation and quality reporting.

Responsibilities

• Test LV switchboards (MDBs, MSBs, DBs, control panels) and perform insulation resistance, continuity, polarity and functional testing.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and general arrangement drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety procedures.
• Complete test documentation, inspection checklists and quality reports.
