Job summary

Bovara in Huntingwood, NSW, is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter / Switchboard Builder to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble and wire low-voltage switchboards, including distribution boards and meter panels, and work on modular and welded constructions, ensuring quality and safety standards.

You should have at least three years hands-on experience assembling switchboards, strong busbar skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics and GA drawings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling and wiring low-voltage switchboards.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and GA drawings.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and right-first-time workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit low-voltage switchboards in a workshop setting.
• Complete busbar fabrication, installation and component mounting.
• Carry out control wiring and meter panel wiring.
• Build modular and welded switchboard assemblies.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet production schedules.
