Job summary

MACA is seeking experienced LV Fitters to join the Dingo Range Gold Project, working a 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth. The Dingo Range project is a greenfield gold asset in Western Australia’s North Laverton region with a diverse equipment fleet.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing, repairs and fault-finding on light vehicles and mobile equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure reliability.
• Identify mechanical faults, assess repair requirements and complete repairs safely.
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance reports.
• Follow mining site safety protocols including lockout/tagout where required.

The Role & Project

MACA are seeking experienced LV Fitters to join our team at the Dingo Range Gold Project working a 2/1 or 2/2 FIFO roster from Perth.

The Dingo Range Gold Project developed by Emerald Resources is a 1.41-million-ounce greenfield gold asset located in Western Australia's North Laverton region, representing one of the state's emerging gold developments.

Equipment we have on site: Trucks Komatsu 785-7 & HD1500, Diggers Komatsu PC1250 - Liebherr 9200 & 9300, CAT equipment D9 & D10 , Dozer 16m, Grader 777 watercarts, Epiroc T45 Drills.

Key Result Areas Include

• Identify mechanical faults, assess repair requirements and complete repairs in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain accurate service records, maintenance reports
• Follow mining site safety protocols, including isolation and lockout/tagout procedures where required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop and work environment

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
• Australian HR Drivers Licence is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving ability including diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across various fleets and machinery.
• Experience in an open pit mining environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Must present with a \"Can Do\" attitude to work and safety.
