Job summary

Protecnium is seeking an LV Electrical Design Review Engineer for a heavy civil construction project in Cooma, NSW. The role begins on-site for the initial period, then transitions to a hybrid setup with occasional on-site visits as needed.

You will review LV electrical deliverables, check interfaces, and ensure compliance with Employer Requirements and standards. A minimum of 5 years in LV design or review on large-scale projects is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in LV electrical design or design-review on major infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and AS/NZS 2293 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical reviewer for LV electrical deliverables and shop drawings.
• Coordinate BIM/Revit shop-drawing reviews and model submissions for compliance.
• Review calculations, datasheets, and design changes against requirements and standards.
• Prepare and track comments through No Objection / Approved for Construction status.
• Attend design reviews and interface coordination meetings with partners and subcontractors.
