Job summary

Beckons seeks a dedicated Spa Manager to lead the Southern Ocean Lodge spa and wellness program on Kangaroo Island. You will drive guest journeys, oversee treatment delivery, and manage the spa team in a luxury wilderness setting.

Based on the island with accommodation and meals provided, the role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a passion for regenerative approaches to wellbeing and guest care.

Qualifications

• Experience leading spa teams in luxury settings.
• Experience managing budgets, stock, and revenue in a spa.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
• Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy, Massage or related wellness discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop the spa team to deliver personalised treatments.
• Oversee daily spa operations: rostering, bookings and flow.
• Deliver hands-on treatments as required.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and guest care.
• Manage stock, retail product and supplier relationships.
• Monitor spa revenue, labour and costs.
• Develop and refine the treatment menu to reflect regenerative ethos.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate wellness across the guest journey.
