Qualifications

• Cert IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Diploma of Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Chef.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and guests.
• Hands-on, practical approach to tasks.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of workplace policies and procedures (HACCP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen in absence of Executive Chef.
• Lead and mentor kitchen staff.
• Assist with menu preparation and stock planning.
• Coordinate with Restaurant team on menu items and changes.
• Maintain high presentation standards and cost control.
• Ensure food safety and HACCP compliance.
