You will supervise banquet staff, coordinate room setups, manage event timelines, and collaborate with kitchen and events teams to confirm menus and special requirements, while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet operations or event service leadership, including supervising teams and coordinating functions.
• Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder needs.
• Proficiency in organizing event setups, time management, and attention to detail in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, safe handling practices, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work culture.
• Comfort with basic administrative tasks, such as shift scheduling, event reporting, and using hotel systems or POS platforms.
• Previous experience in upscale hotels or luxury hospitality settings is highly regarded.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays; relevant hospitality or events qualifications are an advantage.
