Job summary

Langham Hotels & Resorts on the Gold Coast seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department across luxury hotel and residences, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.

You will oversee both an internal team and an external contractor, drive budget and productivity targets, and foster a positive, guest‑centric culture aligned with the Langham brand.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping leader within a hotel, resort or luxury hospitality environment.
• Experience leading large teams and managing outsourced or contracted service providers.
• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, quality assurance standards and workforce planning.
• Experience managing budgets, payroll, labour productivity and departmental financial performance.
• Passion for service excellence and providing superior hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across housekeeping functions including guest rooms, public areas, laundry and back-of-house spaces.
• Lead a team comprising hotel employees and an external housekeeping provider, ensuring service delivery aligns with brand standards, operational requirements, and guest expectations.
• Monitor productivity, labour costs, budgets and inventory to achieve operational and financial targets, while ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, hotel policies and industry regulations.
• Recruit, onboard, coaching and developing team members while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.
