Job summary

Thales Group in Australia is seeking a warehouse associate to mark and place stores, package for dispatch, and support movement of stock across the depot and by road. The role is based at our Orchard Hills site and requires maintaining shelf life, audits, and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will hold a full driver’s licence (with willingness to obtain Forklift and MR licences), have strong numeracy and communication skills, and bring warehousing experience.

Qualifications

• A full driver’s licence (willingness to obtain Forklift and MR licences).
• Excellent attention to detail with very good numeric, oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience within a warehousing environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Mark and place stores in stock & package for dispatch
• Participate in the movement of stores by road and within the depot
• Monitor shelf life of stores and assist with audits and inspections
• Operate information systems for the input and retrieval of stores information
• Always watch out for others, maintain awareness of and strive to achieve the company’s health and safety goals and objectives

Team

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. Working at our Orchard Hills site, on Darug land, your role purpose is to mark and place stores in stock & package for dispatch, participate in the movement of stores by road and within the depot, monitor shelf life of stores and assist with audits and inspections, operate information systems for the input and retrieval of stores information, and always watch out for others, maintaining awareness of and striving to achieve the company’s health and safety goals and objectives.
