Job summary

LPA Lighting in Melbourne’s northern suburbs is seeking a Logistics or Operations Manager to lead our new Epping Warehouse. You will oversee the end-to-end warehouse, workshop, logistics and supply chain operations, driving safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery and fostering a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar leadership role with strong warehousing, supply chain and logistics knowledge.
• Demonstrated safety focus and ability to manage competing priorities with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Experience coaching and developing teams and implementing best-practice processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse and workshop operations, including safety, quality, productivity and daily shift planning.
• Own logistics and supply chain activities: inbound/outbound freight, carrier performance and service levels.
• Manage procurement, pricing negotiation, purchase orders and supplier performance reviews; maintain stock accuracy and data integrity.
• Champion new technology and ERP usage; drive scanning, reporting and inventory functionality.
• Identify and embed automation and process improvements to lift accuracy, throughput and cost efficiency; mentor the team.
• Report cost, service, stock position, ageing and obsolescence to the GM and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
