Job summary

Roquette is seeking a Logistics Technician 1 for our Midland, MI facility to safely handle, package, and move materials. You will ensure GMP compliance, support production flow, and collaborate across shifts to maintain quality and throughput.

This role requires physical work, adherence to procedures, and effective teamwork. The position offers hourly compensation with potential incentives based on performance and location.

Responsibilities

• Complete qualification exams covering equipment and processes.
• Package finished products into drums, bags, and supersacks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs.
• Collect product samples and deliver to appropriate locations.
• Follow GMP, SOPs, and FDA requirements at all times.
• Perform quality control checks and tests.
• Operate and maintain packaging and material handling equipment.
• Set up packaging lines and prepare materials for shipment.
• Move and stage raw materials and finished goods.
• Load and unload pallets and containers.
• Inspect equipment and ensure readiness for operation.
• Print and apply labels for accurate product identification.
• Maintain documentation including logbooks and lot data sheets.
• Identify hazards; participate in safety observations and meetings.
• Support housekeeping standards in packing areas.
• Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Change screens, filters, and dust collector bags.
• Monitor quality of packaging materials and supplies.
• Communicate with team leads and plant personnel.
• Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity.
