Metcash Trading Limited is seeking a Logistics Planning Manager to lead end-to-end logistics planning, aligning workforce, inventory, warehouse capacity and transport to deliver seamless operations.

You will turn insights into action by leveraging data, optimize resources and schedules, and partner with operational leaders to build a safety-first, high-performing culture that supports our Distribution Centre.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in logistics, supply chain or Distribution Centre operations, including workforce planning and resource optimisation.
• Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory, transport operations and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with the ability to balance cost, productivity and service while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end logistics planning, aligning workforce, inventory, warehouse capacity and transport to deliver seamless operations.
• Optimise resources, workforce planning and operational schedules to drive productivity, cost efficiency and service excellence.
• Leverage data and performance metrics to anticipate risks, challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with operational leaders, build team capability and champion a collaborative, high-performing and safety-first culture.
