Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking a Logistics Operator to join the team in Altona, Australia. This casual 6-month assignment supports day-to-day operations and contributes to a more sustainable future while making a meaningful impact.

You will operate forklifts, perform safety inspections, handle goods, assist with stocktaking, and collaborate with the warehouse team to improve efficiency. A valid forklift licence and strong safety knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Forklift Driver (reach forklift) or similar logistics role.
• Valid forklift licence and knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move inventory within the warehouse.
• Perform routine safety inspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Load and unload goods from delivery trucks with accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory management, reporting discrepancies to the warehouse manager.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with safety standards.

Responsibilities

As a Logistics Operator, your primary responsibilities willinclude:

• Operating forklifts and othermaterial-handling equipment to efficiently move and manage inventory within thewarehouse.
• Performing routine safetyinspections on equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Loading and unloading goods fromdelivery trucks while ensuring accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• Assisting with stocktaking andinventory management, promptly reporting any discrepancies to the warehousemanager.
• Collaborating with team membersto streamline warehouse operations and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintaining a clean, organizedworkspace in adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience as a Forklift Driver (reach forklift) orin a similar logistics role.
• Valid forklift licence and strong knowledge ofwarehouse safety procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as partof a team.
