Indigeco Pty Ltd is seeking a Logistics Officer (Storeman) for our Somersby warehouse. This role focuses on efficient warehousing, stock control and forklift operations in a close-knit team.

You will handle picking, packing, receiving, stock counting and using warehouse management software. A current forklift licence, reach forklift, and Class C licence are essential, with SAP experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified warehouse professional with warehousing and inventory control experience.
• Forklift operations and safety compliance are essential.
• Proficiency with barcode systems and ERP/WMS environments is required.

Indigeco is recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the energy sector for an experienced Logistics Officer (Storeman) to join our clients warehouse team in Somersby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a warehouse professional who enjoys working in a close knit team and has strong experience in warehousing, inventory control and forklift operations.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, pack and dispatch materials

Receive, inspect and store incoming stock

Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment

Conduct stock counts and report discrepancies

Use barcode scanning systems and warehouse management software

Maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse housekeeping standards

Follow all safety, environmental and operational procedures

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, procurement or stores environment

Current Forklift Licence (essential)

Reach Forklift Licence/experience highly regarded

Current Class C Driver's Licence

Experience using warehouse management, inventory or ERP systems (SAP experience highly regarded)

Experience using barcode order-picking systems

Strong understanding of inventory control processes

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace safety and customer service

Qualification in Logistics, Procurement or a related discipline

Experience within utilities, energy, manufacturing or heavy industry environments
