Total Resource Solutions is seeking a Logistics Officer (Storeman) for an onsite role in Somersby, NSW. The position supports receiving, storing, picking, packing and distributing materials with emphasis on accurate inventory and safe warehouse operations.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, ASAP start to 26 February 2027 with potential extension. Applicants should hold a current forklift licence, a Class C driving licence, and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and barcode

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including picking, packing, receipting and dispatching materials.
• Operate forklifts to safely move and store stock.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process stock movements using ERP/warehouse systems.
• Support stock putaway and sorting of returned materials.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure efficient operations.

Logistics Officer (Storeman) – Utilities Organisation

Location: Somersby, NSW

Contract: ASAP to 26 February 2027, potential extension

Rate: $40–$45 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite

Primary Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Officer (Storeman) to join a well-established warehouse and distribution team based in Somersby. This is a hands‑on role responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and distributing materials, while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring safe warehouse operations.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse activities including picking, packing, receipting and dispatching materials.
• Operate forklifts to safely move and store stock.
• Conduct regular stocktakes, identify discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Utilise warehouse management systems and ERP platforms to process stock movements.
• Support stock consolidation, putaway and sorting of returned materials.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Work collaboratively within a close‑knit, experienced warehouse team.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or stores environment.
• Current forklift licence (essential), with reach forklift experience/licence highly regarded.
• Current Class C driver's licence.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and stock control processes.
• Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems, ideally SAP.
• Experience with barcode scanning and order picking systems.
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills and a team‑focused attitude.

Desirable Requirements

• Qualification in Logistics, Procurement or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in utilities, heavy industry or industrial warehousing.
• Dogman ticket.
