Job summary

The Department of Defence in Australia seeks an APS 5 Logistics Officer to join the Air Lift Systems Program Office (ALSPO) at RAAF Base Richmond, NSW. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver Defence capabilities, undertaking complex material logistics tasks, governance, and risk-based decision making.

SAP experience is advantageous, with opportunities to develop logistic plans and liaise with the Air Force and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated logistic experience.
• Experience in using Supply Chain Systems.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Work collaboratively and positively with the broader team.
• Flexibility and resilience to respond to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated understanding of budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage liaisons between ALSPO, Air Force and our industry partners.
• Provide governance and assurance support to our industry partners and high level logistic data analysis.
• Support development of logistic plans and ongoing capability success.
• Work within SAP ERP environment and contribute to the MILIS/SAP transition.
