Job summary

South32 in Queensland is seeking a Logistics Officer Processing permanent role. The job involves coordinating the Processing Department's administrative and logistical activities to support efficient operations and governance.

The role offers a 4:3 roster with FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville and DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay Shires; you will manage recruitment, budgets, approvals, travel, meetings, and reporting while driving safe, compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative logistics and governance processes.
• Proficient with MS Office, SAP and SharePoint.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Clear communication and collaboration with contractors and teams.
• Apply workplace safety, health and environmental principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Processing Department's administrative and logistical activities.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, contractor mobilisation and training compliance.
• Compile budgets, forecasts and cost reports; track expenditure and POs.
• Administer management of change, document approvals and compliance action registers.
• Organise travel, meetings and reporting packs; improve workflows.
• Support governance and ensure safe, compliant operations.
