Job summary

South32 is seeking a Logistics Officer to enable safe and efficient maintenance execution by coordinating workforce logistics and related activities.

The role is a permanent full-time position on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires. You will manage onboarding, cost tracking, and material availability to support reliable maintenance delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating logistics, maintenance support or contractor management.
• Ability to build productive relationships across operational teams.
• Strong prioritisation and accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor onboarding, mobilisation and site access.
• Manage labour purchase requisitions, service entries and cost tracking.
• Maintain parts laydown areas and support material availability.
• Maintain compliance records and maintenance reporting data.
