Job summary

South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Officer to coordinate workforce logistics, shutdown support and parts staging for maintenance teams across FIFO and DIDO assignments from Queensland.

You will ensure safe, efficient operations and drive timely delivery and reliability outcomes. The role requires coordinating onboarding, labour procurement, cost tracking and compliance. A C Class Drivers Licence and SAP proficiency are desirable, with a strong focus on accuracy and

Qualifications

• Coordinating logistics, maintenance support or contractor management activities.
• Building productive relationships across operational and technical teams.
• Managing competing priorities whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Identifying issues and proactively delivering practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor onboarding, mobilisation and site access requirements.
• Manage labour purchase requisitions, service entries and cost tracking activities.
• Maintain parts laydown areas and support material availability for maintenance work.
• Maintain compliance records, controlled documents and maintenance reporting data.
