Job summary

South32 is hiring a Logistics Officer for our Cannington operation in northwest Queensland. The role is a permanent full-time position on an 8:6 roster, FIFO from Brisbane and Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa, Cloncurry and McKinlay shires.

You will coordinate workforce logistics to enable safe, efficient maintenance execution and ensure parts and documentation are in order. Key duties include onboarding contractors, managing labour requests and cost tracking, maintaining parts laydown and

• Experience coordinating logistics for maintenance or operations.

• Ability to manage competing priorities with high accuracy.

• Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor onboarding, mobilisation and site access requirements.
• Maintain labour purchase requisitions and cost tracking.
• Maintain parts laydown areas and support material availability for maintenance work.
• Maintain compliance records and maintenance reporting data.
