Job summary

Doltone Hospitality Group is seeking a motivated Logistics Assistant based in Sylvania Waters to support daily logistics, transport team members and goods between venues and our Pyrmont head office. The role requires hands-on, reliable handling in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will drive fleet vans and trucks under 5 tonnes, operate forklifts, and coordinate delivery schedules and event setups. Weekend/evening work is part of the roster and reliable personal transport is essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift license is essential.
• Ability to drive a truck up to 5 tonnes is essential.
• Willingness to work a 7 day roster including evenings.
• Reliable, organised and hands-on.
• Physical capability for manual handling and stairs.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day logistics requirements of the business.
• Coordinate transportation for team members, guests, equipment and goods as required.
• Transport stock and supplies between venues and Pyrmont head office.
• Coordinate delivery schedules to ensure goods and services arrive safely and on time.
• Drive DHG fleet vans and trucks under 5 tonnes.
• Operate forklifts as required.
• Coordinate with operations team to set up and break down of event spaces.
• Organise and maintain storage areas to ensure efficiency.
• Support event operations across Sydney locations.

What we are looking for?

• Flexible and willing to work across a 7 day roster including evenings is essential
• Forklift license is essential

• Strong ability walking and using stairs, standing for extended periods, manual handling and lifting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
• Physical capability for manual handling
• Strong work ethic and reliability

This role is based out of Sylvania Waters, so reliable personal transport is required and will include weekend and evening work.
